No Charm! D:

Guys, I have terrible news!...
I'm going to Florida with my family for vacay! D:
Yeah yeah, I know that this sounds like great news because I get to go sunning in beautiful Orlando, but the thing is: A: I've been to Florida before so there's nothing new to do there. And B: Charm's not going with us! D:
I'm going to have to go a full week without riding or even seeing my Charmy! This could actually be the end of my life!
But I have a plan. I'm going to leave my favorite jacket laying on Charm's stall door, so that it will smell like me. Also, halfway through the week I'm getting Mike to spray my new favorite perfume, Vanilla Cupcake, near the back of his stall so hopefully he will associate that scent and me.
Brit has also promised to go to the stable every few days and ride him through a simple walk trot canter workout, and mainly work on simple flatwork so that he doesn't get out of shape.
I also have some people on treat and pet duty. Everyday Callie is going to give Charm a few carrots, and spray his water with his favorite apple flavored spray, and every time Heather or Alison are in the stable, they're going to stop by Charm's stall and give him a pat.
All in all, I think that Charm will be fine, but I'm definitely going to miss him. :(
Another bad thing about going for a week, is that I'm not going to see any of my friends! But Brit said that she'd Skype me anytime I want, and everyone else promised to text me whenever they can.
Paige texted and I told her my dilemma, and she said that I'm probably making a big deal and that Charm will be fine, and that its only for a week. But she doesn't have a horse, so she can't really know how it feels.

There's one more bad thing about this trip... I'm not going to be able to blog for a week, but I will blog as soon as I get back. So don't worry!

NEW ADITION!

OMG! SOME CRAZY STUFF HAPPENED AT CCA TODAY!
Mr. Connor came to us after riding practice, and had a clipboard in his hand that was different then the one he usually carries, so I knew that it was serious.
He started explaining to us about how there was a new addition to Canterwood. At first, I thought that he was talking about a new student who was going to be on our team or something, but then he started saying that Mike and Doug would be the ones to feed  her.
Then I figured that it was a new horse that needed training or something, because sometimes Mr. Connor would tell us if we got a new horse shipped here.
He went into the tack room, and a few seconds later brought out... the cutest little kitten ever!
Mr. Connor explained that even though Mike and Doug would be feeding her, you could still pet her and hold her whenever you want!
The whole point of getting a cat was so that she could catch the mice that lived here, since the mice sometimes spooked the horses.
Then, the little kitten made the most adorable little meow!
Mr. Connor announced that her name was Elegance aka Ellie, and she was only 10  months old!

She is so adorable! She meows when anyone passes her, and if you're not paying enough attention to her she'll head butt your leg! LOL!
And Charm and Jack were doing the cutest thing in the paddock today! They were cantering together, and then eventually Apollo joined in but I didn't get a pic of him :(

Brit's Freakout!

Hey CCAers!
So yesterday, I found out, that Charm LOVES bananas! Who would have known? I brought one to the stable to eat after our lesson, and he literally stole it from my hand and ate it!
Then he gave me this innocent face, like 'I didn't just steal your banana! What are you talking about?'
And now his biggest obsession are bananas! I think he actually prefers them over carrots and apples!
Anyways, the funniest thing happened today! We had a day off of riding lessons, because Mr. Connor and the other instructors had a meeting.
So Brit and I went into the stable to have a little trail ride so the horses could relax and have fun, but when Brit got to Apollo's stall she literally screamed because... *Pause for dramatic effect*... APOLLO WASN'T THERE! DUN DUN DUNNNNNN!
By then I already had Charm in cross ties, and when she screamed I jumped and ran over to her..
Here's a little snip-it from our conversation:
Brit: AHHHHHH!
Me: What?! Whats wrong?! *Rushes over*
Brit: Apollo's not in his stall! Where is he?!
Me: *Hugs* It's OK, I'm sure he's just in the paddock.
Brit: You're probably right... Let's go check!
We then proceeded to run outside and check his usual paddock.
Brit: HE'S NOT THERE!
At that exact moment, Mike turned the corner, and walked over to us. Holding a soaking wet Apollo!
Brit: *Takes lead rope from Mike* What happened?!
Mike: He was caked with mud when I came out into the stable a few minutes ago, and I thought that you would probably want to ride later, so I bathed him. You're gonna have to wait a little while for him to dry off before you can ride him though.
The rest of the conversation was basically the two of us falling down laughing when Apollo shook all the water onto us and Mike.
And that was Brit's freakout!

Also, when I woke up Charm was being so adorable and was cantering around the paddock! SO CUTE!
One final thing to say is, the secret admirer struck again! This morning, I found a single bright red rose and a card that two letters on it: O and B
I hope I figure out who this is sometime soon!

Crazy Present!

Hey guys! First off, two posts in two days! Can I get a what what?
But anyways, I had to blog today because of a super weird thing that happened today.
So here's how it started. I woke up like normal, changed to go riding, but as soon as I opened the door to leave Brit and I's dorm room, I noticed something on the floor in front of our door.
In front of our door, there was a beautiful light mint green saddle pad and a pink card with a heart on it.
The card read "Just because. xoxo From, your secret admirer." I was like WHAT?!
1. I have a secret admirer? and 2. Who the heck is it?
I asked Brit what she thought, and she said it was probably someone trying to prank me. But the brand of the saddle pad is a very expensive brand line that would have cost over fifty dollars! I seriously doubt that someone trying to prank me would have invested in such an expensive prank prop.

After that, I practiced some simple flat work with Brit, and Callie (Heather and Alison have gone to Heather's mansion for a few weeks of the summer) and they both commented on how adorable Charm looked in his new saddle pad. And I could tell that he loved it to, because he lifted his legs extra high the whole practice and had a special spring in his step.(<3)
Now I'm blogging while watching Season 1 of Pretty Little Liars like I said I would, and Brit's gone to get snacks (I hope she chooses M&Ms).

First Post!

OMG THIS IS MY FIRST BLOG POST! EEEEEEK!
Sooooo most of you CCAers will probably know about LT's blog. Well... Lauren kinda..  Told me that I should make a blog so I am!
Ok, ok, thats not the full story, so here it is:
I was walking through the tack room in the stable, when I bumped into Lauren.
LT: Oh hey Sash!
Me: Hey LT!
LT: Whats up?
Me: I was just gonna go for a ride on Charm. Wanna come?
LT: Sure! Give me ten minutes to tack up?
Me: Ok, and then meet in the outdoor arena closest to the stable.
Then we tacked up our horses and met in the arena. While we were warming up we walked our horses side by side.
Me: So, got any big plans for the weekend? Hint hint, any dates?
LT: *Laughs and blushes* Maaaaayybe.
Me: *Winks*
LT: Khlo and I finished watch the first season of Pretty Little Liars earlier today though!
Me: No spoilers! I'm gonna watch the whoooole series over summer break.
LT: Don't worry, I wont say anything. But anyways, after the first season I haaaad to post on my blog about a quiz I did to see which character I am. I got Aria *laughs*
Me: Cool! Having a blog sounds awesome.
LT: Oh my god, you should totally make one!
Me: Really? I don't even think I'd have anything to post about.
LT: Post about... everything! Come on you haaave to make one!
Me: Ok... if you're so sure *uncertain smile*
END SCENE (lol)
So that's how the whole thing went down!
*Checks time* OH! Gotta go to my afternoon riding lesson! Mr. Connor will kill me if I'm late!
I have ten minutes to tack up and warm up! Bye!
